We have one group currently meeting at Elk River UMC to help with recovery. If you would like more information, please contact us or just feel free to show up at a meeting.

Survivors Grief Support Group

is open to anyone grieving the death of a person they loved. Group members may be grieving a recent death, or one that occurred several years previously. The group size varies weekly from two to eight persons. Positive feedback is expressed in a helpful and kindly manner. If you are grieving, you are welcome to attend as many sessions as you wish. The group is presently facilitated by Rev. Jean Ottensmann . They meet each Thursday evening from 5:30 ‘til 7:00 p.m. in the Prayer Room on the lower level of Elk River United Methodist Church.
