Sunday Worship
Sundays are a busy day at Elk River United Methodist Church with three services in the morning beginning at 8:15, 9:30 and 11:00 am. These three services are held year-round and we welcome all to join us.
Our first two services, 8:15 and 9:30 am, are traditional with organ music and hymnals. At the 11:00 service you’ll find our Praise Band and much more modern music featuring guitars, drums and live vocals.
We offer Sunday School September through May during the 9:30 hour for the kids and we also have several adult classes at this time. Children's church is held during the 11 am service, please contact the office for any details not listed.
Throughout the year we offer a coffee and fellowship hour from 9:30 to 11:30 am. Come early or stay late for your service and spend a little time in the fellowship hall. We would love to welcome you and share a cup of coffee or lemonade and a donut.
For families with young children, we have a professionally staffed nursery during the 9:30 an 11:00 services for children through three years old.
Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of every month at all three services. The United Methodist Church has the philosophy of “Open Minds, Open Hearts, Open Doors” and welcome all to join us in communion.
Dress is relaxed.
