We will meet Tuesday, December 9th to discuss the book The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion. “This book…navigates the choppy waters of adult relationships, both romantic and platonic, with a fresh take” both “filled with humor and plenty of heart.”

The Community Choir is performing A Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 6th at Elk River Lutheran Church. Time to be announced. Many singers from our church are in the choir.

We will be reading The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie. “Inspired by his own experiences growing up, ...author Sherman Alexie chronicles the contemporary adolescence of one unlucky boy trying to rise above the life everyone expects him to live. We meet to discuss this book on Wednesday, December 3rd at 3:30 PM in the Fireside Room.

1st Sunday of Advent is November 30th. We will be decorating the church after service next Sunday, November 23rd.

The Chosen, Book 5, meets on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM in the Fireside Room. The study will run weekly through December 9th. This is a wonderful opportunity to grow in faith and fellowship with other women in the church. For more information, please call the church office.

We pause to reflect on our history, remember the people who have influenced our faith and consider how we might strive to become a saint ourselves. If you would like to remember a loved one during the service, call the office with the name and connection to the member.

The funeral service for Pastor Jack Rehnberg will be held on Thursday, October 17th at 1:00 PM at Osseo United Methodist Church, located at 16 2nd Ave SE, Osseo, MN. Visitation will take place at the church two hours prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 AM. The service will be held in-person but can be viewed virtually:

GriefShare will be starting a 13 week session on September 18th from 5:00-7:00 PM.
