Children, Youth and Family Ministry

Elk River United Methodist Church seeks to enrich the lives of children, youth and families though Christ. We are dedicated to supporting caring adults and discipleship in daily life.

  • Sunday School

    Kick-Off Sunday is September 13! We’re excited to begin Sunday School for children ages 6 and up.

    Children are invited to begin worship in the sanctuary with their parents. During the service, children will be dismissed to go to Room 9, where they will have an opportunity to play, enjoy arts and crafts, and learn more about Jesus.

    We look forward to learning, growing, and having fun together this fall!

  • Bible STEM Nights

    Learn love and lessons from the Bible, play, build, create and experiment! Bible STEM nights are a great way to explore the Bible in a new way. Meets Wednesdays from 5:30-6:15 PM during the school year. Bible STEM is best for kids grades 2 and up, however, K/1 students are welcome and have enjoyed the lessons.  Cost is $20 per child to help cover supplies.

    Scholarships: Assistance is available for all programs to those in need. 

    Fall session: Begins Wednesday, September 16. Additional info and registration coming!

    Bonus: Dinner is provided on Wednesday evenings starting at 5:00 PM with free will offering.
