Kevin is a native Texan from Mineral Wells, about 40 miles west of Fort Worth, and a lifelong United Methodist. He was active at FUMC Mineral Wells, where his mother served as part-time children’s director. His older brother is a United Methodist elder in Oregon, and his sister teaches elementary school in the Fort Worth area. While studying at the University of Chicago, he met his wife, Kate Gerike, an ELCA pastor. After graduating in 2020, they moved to Minnesota, where Kate now serves as Pastor of Faith Formation at Word of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers.

Becky moved to Elk River in October 2018, after her husband's death. She has been attending Elk River UMC since then, joining the choir, reading scripture in service, assisting with Children's Ministry, and recently, as the Office Administrator. Becky is passionate about music ministry and GriefShare. Outside of church, Becky enjoys crafting, reading , taking care of her two dogs; and helping with her two grandsons. She values faith, family and helping others grow in their walk with Christ.

Tilly has been part of Elk River United Methodist Church since December of 2024, serving in the role of Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministries. She is passionate about teaching young children about God and helping them to have a strong faith themselves. Outside of church, Tilly enjoys hanging out with her family, going for walks, and reading. Tilly values community, faith, and helping others grow in their walk with Christ.
